Wings

I am a bird my destination a thing lost in the clouds I cannot see my path nor do I know where it takes me lost in the white fog and the endless sky. but I can feel it and I breathe it in like a living thing my wings, my most trusted companions and tools that take me on my way these connections of mine my limbs appendages that feel disconnected from myself seem to know even before I do where I am supposed to be so I trust them allow them to guide me. I do not feel afraid that I am lost because truly I am not Though it seems like it now, I will soon find my home this place where I am meant to be for the sky is my friend and my wings are my guide. And I trust that in the end, things will be the way that they have always been meant to be.
