Wings
Part 2: Lie
I stick to things that are familiar, like love and strictness.
It's just model behavior that I've always witnessed.
I think this through as I'm being filmed in a white room.
Inverted images flash in my mind, I hope I'm out of here soon.
Then I'm falling, appearing on a bed with another that's empty.
Like a wine glass filled with pills, what I'm stuck in is quite depressing.
There is no escaping the lie that I'm caught in.
My laughter and innocence on fire but when will the pain begin?
I'm drowning in this place with no one to save me.
Reaching out through the rain as if grabbing for safety.
I am being punished, stuck in a frame.
Maybe if I lay in this tub of water, I won't wake up here, always the same.
I would reach towards the light but what's the use?
I'm living in a constant glitch, always awake and always abused.
Someone please stop me.
I need wings to guide me.
All I ask is to let me breathe!
But I know no one will come. I know there's no end.
Because I'm trapped inside myself, which is already dead.
