Wings

A caterpillar resting on a leaf

Filled with nothing but greif

Missing something that was never owned

How can this be so?

This empty feeling that's inside

Its getting harder to hide

I feel like I could fly

I think I could fly

I want to fly

Can I fly?

No, I wont fly

Now the caterpillar is taken back

Will I ever fly or will I forever stay back?

The caterpillar didn't realize

Her process was very much streamline

Although she is not aware

There was no reason to be in despair

Slowly she started to transition

She had enough ambition

From a sluggish empty ground-boung caterpillar

To something unrecognizeable in the mirror

She is now a butterfly

Free to jump in the air and fly

Feeling like  a king

She now has her wings
