Wings

In the black of night,

a speck of silver light,

as the wind blows,

the light grows,

frozen in place,

all you can do is watch,

as you see angel wings soar up high,

and your heart shatters while dazing at the sky,

moon and stars,

gone,

replaced by black,

all you can do is wimper and cry,

while you daze at the sky,

broken,

lost,

my heart is broken,

never to be fixed,

until I can see the wings once more,

as i walk through the door.
