Wings of White

Why have my wings of white, Turn to a vicious color of fright? My mind is being concealed in the darkness of night, My fading of life and light. Is this Perdition I endure? Why is the light I reach out to so obscure? No need for me to have Accession, To this land of Oppression. My mind is full of confussion, Maybe all of this is simply just an Illusion? My light is consumed by what I think are lies, I plead to be free and fly!
