Winner

You shed a tear As they call your name. You walk the stage Towards your new found fame. You grasp your trophy, You hold it tight. As if it may, put up a fight. You cough on your words As you give thanks from the stage. You smile at the crowd As your life turns the page. You look to the left. You look to the right. All you can see Is your future looks bright. You take a bow. You have waited so long. Blood loss. And tears shed. To stand here this long. You think of the people Who pushed you, And shoved you. Who dissed you, And loved you. As the crowd gives applause You shed one more tear. Your a Winner. You made it. Your finally here. ~ Reba Miller~
