Winning the Battle

Simple, like the rest.

Life's lost 'er zest.

Layer's a war paint to cover what's real

Will this heart heal?

Wounded, like the rest

Fighting for life's best

Worth it? Probably not.

"Know thyself."

How very, very scary!

"Our hearts are restless til they rest in you, oh Lord."

That's it.

Ifind myself

I am myself

I know myself in and through Christ the Lord.
