Winter
Oh winter, winter's just around the corner
The leaves have fallen
And left trees shivering
Like clingy things letting go
Of all that they have known
And are finally floating free.
The falls colors have faded and washed
Away, into a deepest white
it’s getting lonesome and I’m about to cry,
Oh I just.. might.
.
But let me make mighty of things that might
Come bearing bad news and cold hearts
Cause the cold nights won't get to me
And sure as hell, won’t let the nightmares touch me.
