Winter
They say you gotta treat 'em colder than December
Don't mind me as I penetrate your thoughts and enter your mind
No definition of time just our vibe tryn'a unwind
I look into ur eyes, thinkin' I knew what you wanted
Not knowin' it would lead to my soul's ultimate demise
See I really like you but I'm also demanding and emotionally famished
So I don't mean to be brash by lettin yu kno what my plan is
I like you for who you are but who woulda known the chances
Of us comin' together like leaves and branches.
Man, I'm the whole package I come off real rude cus I can be kind of a savage
But I'll lavish you wit all the love I can manage
I wish you would just let me give yu what I can
And let this vibe flow while I give without you havin to demand
And just relax, free ya mind, let things go without a plan
And you would've never thought we'd be here from where we began,
See I can usually separate the physical from the mental
But somethin' 'bout you made me feel kinda special
Like I couldn't pull apart the thangs so central
Lettin' my cold heart feel on somethin' so gentle
But like my heart you did me colder than winter stones
Froze to the bone, heart on my sleeve right where the stones was thrown
But I guess that's my fault
You ain't owed me shit but words and false thoughts
Now my gentle soul don't feed on nothin' else but how my heart rots
Now my plan feel like a plot and how selfish of me to have thought that yu'd think about me in reciprocity
Now here I am again
Demanding and emotionally famished
Still needing a man, not a boy that's man-ish
Cold from the damage but
I've been here before, so I'm sure that ill manage.
