Winter

Winter in her cloak of grandeur

Trumpets loud singing her splendor

Softly spreads her cloak of white

While Chirping birds fluff their feathers tight

Glistening Crystals drift in the air

Like shiny diamonds glimmering fair

The trees soon covered in snow

Heavy and bending are her boughs

Glowing faces playing in the snow

 Building snowmen with funny noses

Sliding and gliding down the hill they go

Shrieking and tumbling with sleds in tow

Winter in all her beautiful glory

Fiercely sharing her blustery story

Here to stay and play a bit longer

Knowing spring is just around the corner
