Winter Daze

Wake Up and fall asleep in the dark

Find warmth from the spark,

Of a lighter

Making my chest much tighter

At least it’s the most consistent feeling

Getting out of bed is like climbing out of a 10 foot ditch

Across each stitch I slide my finger

Only ever fall out of my bed

Depression heavily lingers

Until the vernal equinox
