Winter Morning's Breeze

Winter morning’s breeze
crisp on my face. Tinting my cheeks rosy pink.
A snowflake lightly kissed my nose, drifting back in the air to dance in icy fire. The frost lying on the bark of the tree broke the sudden intensity inside. I listened as the wind spoke to my mind. I opened my mouth to devour the truth pursed at the curvature of my lips. As fast as I tasted it, the wind took it back. Saving me from the darkness lying ahead of me.
Immersed in the tender touch of winter as snowflakes kissed my nose.
