Winter Thoughts

I look outside the window.

I hear the cold wind blow

Twisting, swirling, driving

Along the ground it goes.

Some folks complain about the frigid weather.

Kids play outside with hearts as light as a feather.

Cars get stuck and children shout "We are in luck!

We will not have school tomorrow"

While parents mutter, "This will cause me sorrow."

Where does the snow come from?

Where does it go when winter's blast is done?

God is the Creator who starts and ends the stuff.

We must learn to be thankful even if we don't prefer the fluff.
