A Winter Walk

Icy hearts Frozen soil See no sunshine Only toil Our hearts were open But now they’re closed Frozen shut By harsh winter cold Cold northern wind O’er the plains Our tortured hearts Remain the same Oh. Oh. sweet Jesus Take me home To the springtime When I was born Before the hurt Before the pain When we felt no fear Only warmth So, oh sweet Jesus, take me home To springtime, where I was born, Oh Sweet Jesus Don't let me die Oh. Oh. Sweet Jesus Help me find the light Said oh, sweet Jesus Take me home To Springtime Where I was born
