Winterday Argentine

Like fresh leaves after a storm frost

My feelings for you have taken a set deposit of raindrops

Like vivaciously gentle sunshine on a crisp January day

My soul is fresh torn away from the threads left by you

Like thin, seed-ornate branches shaking in the wind

My worries for you have dropped into the soft, dapple, dry soil

Like the heather gray hues tinting this tranquil January day

I have been subdued for my affliction of you
