Winter's Love

When within cold Winter’s eye, I peered amidst the snow; And there I saw a passerby, Wrapped in the sparkling show. But upon a closer look, I saw that there were two; Their shining smiles never shook The beautiful sight of love first new. The girl, she laughed, And the boy, he took her hand; And there she twirled- The sight, it was so grand. The ring on her finger glistened, And smiling, for their laughs I listened.
