Wintumn Pre-Kiss
Two young hearts falling; One a girl and other a boy.
Each day he gave her a peck apon her lips to remind her of his endearment.
She was kissed in the fallen snow.
Kissed in cold, wet rain.
She was kissed in the hot summer heat.
And she was kissed on the first blooming bud of spring.
Never was she kissed in the Autumn leaves.
Nor on the night of hallows Eve.
He kissed her at midnight.
He kissed her by morn.
He kissed her on her quinceth birth.
Even kissed her during the storms.
But never was she kissed durning month twelve.
Nor kissed on New Year's Day.
On yucky days he kissed her cheeks.
And on days when she was a mess he kissed her wrists.
He even kissed her when she was sickly.
Their kisses made it to Sundays.
Their kisses made it to week nights.
Their kisses made it through month one and even onto more.
But when colors began to change from greens to reds, oranges, and browns..
No more was meant to be found.
He kissed her through spring and summer. But never through the beginning of winter and Autumn.
She called it her "Wintumn Pre-Kiss" because it was the kisses during summer and spring that kept her alive and never made it to her last Winter and Autumn to help her survive.
