Wisdom Cries Out

I find spaciousness, for

open space unclothes me.

I welcome reality of God,

feeling the freshness

of the breeze within.

I listen in prayer,

float on the waves

of thanksgiving,

letting thoughts flow

and curbing my voice.

I do not seek perfection,

but open myself to discovery,

accepting truth and mercy. . .

God heals all.

I am a retired high school and college professor. The last 10 years of my teaching was as a college professor of literature and writing. I have self-published one book of prayers and meditations and am preparing another book of poetic odes to faith and love. I am truly honored to be welcomed into this group.
