Wisdom is Precious

Blessed is the person who finds wisdom,

And the person who gains knowledge.

For her profits are better than the profits of silver,

And the pleasure of intimacy.

If you exalt her, she will elevate you.

If you embrace her, she will bring you honor.

If you do not forsake her, she will guard you

From the trap of the wicked men.

She is like the tree of life,

And her ways are paths of joy!

So you will walk safely in your path,

And your foot will not stumble.
