The Wisdom Tree by: Jaay Dee Kayy
i’ve learned to see you in the leaves as the wind hits the trees
i can find you in that silence after the whispers
i’ve learned to feel you in the thickest of darknesses
as i search for the image beyond the mirror;
when the whimsical light once danced with the Sun
and all the black and white felt grey,
that balance of blissful ignorance, all erased that April day
though your light was siphoned and redirected to places yet known to me,
until i’m blessed with another caress, i’ll look for you in these trees.
