I wish i could be right there by yourside

holding your hands

looking at your smile

as you glow

but i stood back

watching from afar

because i gave you my all

i wish i could be the one for you

as i watch you achieving all

standing far off like a partisan

i watched as everyone else

i wished for more

i got less
