Wish It Would Have Been Different
She said she was really young
That she’s always taken care of others but never herself
She told me she loved her mom no matter what, even if she was addicted and would sell drugs
She said she went from rich to poor
Rich, where she could buy anything, to poor where she had to beg for scraps
She said watching her mom get a high hurt the most, but watching her sisters starve hurt worse
She said it was hard being adopted, being forced to leave her mom she wish her mom would stop it
She says it’s a good thing that happened because she has a better life
She says she’s glad she gets to reunite with her again but she wishes it would have been different
Her mom said she was foolish and stupid
Her mom said she did it to take away the pain and now she feels ashamed
Her mom said that they were rich when she would sell drugs but the lost it all because she got addicted
Her mom said they lived in a house the size of a mansion
Her mom said it was hard to stop, simply because she was in love with heroin
Her mom said when they took away her kids; it got worse, only because it hurt her the most
But she says after all these years she final stopped, that it was a challenge, but she’s glad she survived it
Her mom says shes happy she gets to reunite with then again to see her 3 beautiful daughters
Her mom says that after all that’s happened she
Wishes it would have been different
