A Wish For Love

We all wish upon stars within our lives, Most of our wishes never will come true. I sit and wait until my wish arrives, And my wish is to be right next to you, To breathe the air you breathe and hold your hand, But wishes never can come true or be. There are as many men as grains of sand, But why, oh why, can't it be you and me? I still have hope that someday I will find A guy like you to care for me always. I'll have to search, but I don't really mind. I might meet him at lunch or the hallway. I will find him and tell you when I do, I will love him but always love you too.
