Wish On a Star

Dreamers wish upon a star for years if they need to

I was one of them until the day that I met you

Each wish I made was for someone

Someone that could see

See the beauty that is held inside of me

My wish upon a star came true

It gave me you

You're the one I'd hoped for all of these years

I guess that makes you my star

Each night when I look at the sky

I'll be thinking of where you are

Which shiny treasure brought me you

For I owe it my life

Good night my star; keep shining bright.
