Wishes

What ever happened to that wish?
I made on that dandelion seed.
Did it get lost in the wind?
Drifted by the breeze that carried it away.
I thought maybe, just maybe it would come back for me,
Save me. Help me. Not forget me.
I mean, it's not the first time I'm forgotten.
Remember that birthday wish I made?
Yeah I do.
Or all those 11:11 wishes?
Disappointments is all it is.
A gift you never received.
Like coal on Christmas morning,
No eggs to find on Easter.
Nothing to look foward to.
You have to move on, like nothing happened at all.
Because remember, don't tell anyone your wish.
It will never come true.
Maybe that's the problem...
