Wishes from the past

I wish for a love that is unconditional-

that should have come from my parents,

but because I cannot ask for that

I wish for the body that social media says all teenage girls should have-

but because I do not have that

I wish for my childhood back-

but beacuse that is in the past

I wish for my thought to be happy and carefree-

but becuse those have already been thought

the one thing I wish for is to be seen-

seen past the girl begging for love, past the body that does not meet standereds,

past every wrong thought taking up the space in my mind, all I ask is to be seen by a

person who can look past all of that and still see....

just me
