A Wishful Student
From eight to three I want to be free Five out of seven days a week and I am one who loves to sleep So why can't school start a little late? Just please not seven or eight The teachers, oh don't get me started Some are loud, some are quiet, and some need to be restarted They yell and scream It has gotten so bad that I can hear them in my dreams And those mile long rants I can't handle anymore I can't So hear me out it's my turn to scream and shout I wish teachers would take the time to see from our view Let's not always sit in our seats like veggies in a stew No more busy work, no more essays What else is there to change if we do only this everyday I'm not a troublesome student I can be very prudent I just want some change My goals are not at all long-range I just want my teachers to understand There are many ways to make school grand!
