Wishing and Waiting

Waiting is the act of hating the present moment.

Waiting is wishing minutes away because we'd rather be a step ahead.

Why wait if we could live in that step ahead?

If everyone just waited, what would our world look like?

Take

a

look

around.

We wait instead of making a compromise because we are too stubborn to meet in the middle.

We are ashamed of our world's current events, but we wait for someone else to state their opinion for us.

Silence is equivalent to committing the act.

So stop putting on an act.

Waiting on something is the act of not making a difference.

In our lives,

households,

connections,

world.

Even in ourselves.

Which is why I'm not waiting on anything.

If I wait on time, the present becomes a chore that must be completed in order to 'be handed' the future.

I'm not going to allow my days to pass by without action and awareness.

If I want change, I'm making that first move toward happiness,

because I don't want an unchanged world to be a side effect of me.
