Wishing on a Star

Wiping off the last red-staining remnants of my pain and staring out my window a single star shines through the rain I wish that they could understand I'm not changing who I am I wish that I could rise up above her striking hands I wish that he would realize he's all I'd ever need I wish that they would stop making it hurt, being me I wish that something would just change Something would just switch and if not, I wish for the courage to push down this blade another inch
