Wishing for Wimgs
Man was given a mind to imagine
Man was given hands to create
They were given resources to fufill ther ambitions
But, man is repress from the simplest form of serenity
For they do not have wings
It is beleived that only
Wings are meant for angels, who hearts are pure and true
Wings are meant for birds, who our father blessed with the gift
Wings are meant for airplanes and helicopters, that man creates
But, wings aren't meant for man
It has been like this since the begining of time
When the world was young and everything was new
When the first man was created
This is the law, the being, and the way of the world
But, I do not beleive so
It may be foolish
However, I wish it was not true
I wish i could feel the zephyr of the wind as I defy gravity
I wish to look upon the horizon as the sun brings a new day
I wish to leave this insipid way of life as I flap my wings toward a new begining
I wish to be free
I wish I had wings
