Wistful Thinking
We Were walking on the Cape Cod sandbars
Gazing wondrously at all the stars
Taking in the night, we danced in the moonlight
I feel out of this world, like I'm on Mars
When she's with me, everything seems just right
I only wish she was here with me tonight
But wiping the tears away from my eyes
The waves and stars made a prophetic sight
I saw the whole congregation arise
as they saw her and I unite our lives
I felt like I was flying off my feet
Then she appeared to me, by surprise
with ring on finger and lips so sweet
she's the one that makes my life feel complete
