The Witches Gate
Oddly confused and compelled
by these ancient metal bars
that lead to the charmed
mansion.
On a clammy and peaceful night
the decision was made undeniable
to enter the spooky manor by midnight.
Now here I stand, hardly believable,
as my body forces me to open
this enchanted gate. I felt the air
change as if the mansion had awoken
to feel my presence in its layer.
The full moon had risen as animosity
My body lingered with disturbance
as my heart burst with anxiety.
My curiosity is taking a chance,
even though fear is creeping
up my spine rapidly.
Everything real around me was fading.
All the beauty had gone away slowly
leaving me in this realm, seemed torture!
I felt warped to this dimension
or created a fantasy as a dreadful adventure.
My eyes wondered in a staggered path.
The aromas in the air changed bittersweet,
like passion poisoned in a steamily bath.
The sun rose in a steady beat;
as if it were a ritual draining me dry
and everything else in its path.
We act as if we have nothing left, as if die...
Now running through this labyrinth,
desperate to find a way back home.
Only I hear a compelling sound, like from a myth.
Like an endless charm begging me to come.
I hear the charm call my name
the sound was getting higher,
as if it were coming to claim
its prize; and now its composer
to the beautiful song has just deserted
the band. The sound comes out as a screech...
Suddenly my eyes were forced opened.
It was dark again and my brain had to tentatively meet
reality...It was all just a dream.
