Witching Hour

Its cool its quiet,

Nothing stirs.

The grass soft and silent,

The world moving in a blur.

The sky so dark and somber, like a lulling void.

And the breath taking spectrum of fireflies, that stick to the sky.

The calming hush of suspension and the stillness of peace.

It inspires me, the night sky.

With its tranquil beauty, and mire facade.

Its bright white stars, and large guise.

It amazes me how small we are to the outside.

And how easily that it hides.

The night sky which motivates me.

Can be clearly seen past six.

And the longer it stays the more I am bewitched.

Even if its only ten or seven,

To me it feels like midnight.
