The Witch's Wishes
The Witch's Wishes
I am old and ugly.
I have been abandonded, left alone.
I know that no one would be seen with me.
If I were to go into town, I would surely be stoned.
Then one day, a family moves in a cottage,
But not just any, it's the one by mine.
They have a baby, soft as cotton.
I can't hold back my smile, even as she starts to whine.
Yet, I start become envious.
Why can my life not be as happy as theirs?
In my mind, their smiles become venomous.
I take their child, so they're the ones left in tears.
Repuzel, that is her new name.
Now I can live happily, and she is the ones to blame.
