Within

2 Corinthians 2:15-16

15 For we are a sweet aroma of Christ to God among those

who are being saved and among those who are perishing—

16 to the latter an odor from death to death,

but to the former a fragrance from life to life.

And who is adequate for these things?

Within

Amazing cup – right side up – a life to be observed

Substance known – filled to be seen – except for the flavor

In the raw – to be mixed – ready to be preserved

Then it will show – the fragrance be – for the Lord and Savior

A test in time – moments to spare – where the importance?

Selfishness – loneliness – knocking at heart’s door

Let me out – deep within – a cry, a sigh, a tear, for instance

Just no change – out of range – my flesh demands the floor

Where to go – for how long – without a foundation

Sarcastic smile – who cares – matters of the mime

Lost in self – my own world – no participation

The color grey – in disarray – slowly away I pine
