Within Arms Reach

It’s day one hundred forty five, The want to learn is gone, And I’m just trying to survive. The goal is to make it out alive, And I can hear life screaming “Bring it on!”. It’s day one hundred forty five. I’m losing my drive, There is nothing to focus on, And I’m just trying to survive. After this, my life will thrive, But I’m stuck counting on It’s day one hundred forty five. This waiting is one powerful line drive, But like a thread I’m hanging on, And I’m just trying to survive. Anticipating the next chapter to arrive, But I’ll use my patience, yawn. It’s day one hundred forty five, And I’m just trying to survive.
