Within The Days Of Sorrow

Within The Days Of Sorrow

Life With Us Was Not Promised Tomorrow

We Weeped, And Cried And Mourned

As We Live Another Day Just To Be Reborn

The Sounds Of Bullets And Bodies Dropping, Makes Me Think About A Family Getting Torn

As I Hear Yelling From A Mother Seeing Her Son Shot And Dying

The Son Is Grabbing Her With Tears In His Eyes Trying

Tears, Yelling, Dying, Dark

The Poor Definition Of Suffering

The Lives That’s Taken Away Is Getting Mourned By God’s Thundering
As The Sirens Ring And The Camera Flicker

The Sun Goes Up As The Police And Doctors Bicker

Suffered A Mother Who Held Her Dying Son With Hope

Suffered A Son Who Took His Last Breathe

Watching The Last Of His Mother Tears Pour

Within The Days Of Sorrow
