Within These Walls

Within these walls,

We wait.

Wait for the righ moment

In which one will pull us out

And open us up.

One comes and another goes,

And yet we wait.

Many have moved on and many have yet to come

And so we wait.

With adventures stored inside of us,

People come and pick us out.

Hopefully, enjoying the stories as much as we do.

But never do they know

That we wait all our lives for them to come back

And many do not,

So we die waiting,

But that's our life as a book.
