without

Autumn leaves do fall

the season creeps ever by

the land below grows colder

and soon all that is green will go

Do you see the mists?

Can you feel the coming dark?

allow me to cradle you close

the wind shall give you chills

let me make such cold fade away

allow my heat to fill you

make you smile once more

it is but my one desire

to hold you close as no other has

with a passion and everlasting love

my heart shall ever be your anchor

I am but your willing slave

use me as you please

for without yu, I am but dust

a shell of a former person

without strength to hold

but a glimmer of light in the darkness

a shade, a ghost, a veil
