Without God

As a child, you entered my life

You instantly became my best friend

Easy to talk to and love

With you, my happiness wouldn’t end

As I grew older

I started to become distant

The only time I called you

I was in trouble and needed you in an instant

The more I aged

The more I became astray

I felt I didn’t need you

Any second, any hour or any day

I soon learned that without you

Comes a lot of pain

From breakups to death

My life was becoming in vain

Through all hardships I’ve had

I reached out for you

For I already did all that I could

Everything else I need you to do

You saved my life many times

Even saved both of my sisters

You were there to help me grow strong

After the pain of all of those misters

Can’t you see that without you

I am hopeless

Life if full of pain, sadness and anger

Without you as the main focus

So I reach to you my father

With you I have no doubt

That you bring me the joy, strength and goodness in my life

It’s you I can’t live without
