Without Her

I am quiet and alone

I wonder what people think

I hear her voice

I see her leaving

I want to be with her

I am quiet and alone

I pretend to be with her

I feel sad without her

I touch her hands

I worry that she might get hurt

I am quiet and alone

I cry that she will leave

I understand that she might not feel the same way

I say I’ll be there for you

I try to be with her anyway I can

I am quiet and alone

I hope I can be with her in good times and bad times

I wonder if she cares

I wish I could make her happy

I wouldn't leave her
