Without Him

Without Him

He’s so important to me that I can never forget the day I met thee

The events play over in my mind like someone pressed the “Repeat” button on time

Without him I would not be me and he would not be him

We complete each other like identical twins

Without him I would have nothing to do in life

For I talk to him all day and all night

I cherish every fiber of his being

His looks, his intelligence, his everything

He makes me feel beautiful when I feel the opposite

Maybe that is why I love him

He became a priority the day he came up to me

He treats me like a queen and when we are together I feel like I am frozen in a dream

But that does not explain why he is important

Maybe because he made claims on my heart ever since the start

Maybe because he caters to me like I really am a queen

Maybe because he would do anything for me

But still, that does not explain why he is important to me
