without him, there's you

after a day to end all,

the sky turned green,

a mother stared down

fear,

and three young girls

changed forever.

there were so many things

that flew past my

naive mind.

daddy's gone, and mommy

will not talk about it!

i grew into a monster after a while;

i hate you mom,

it's your fault he's gone!

you felt guilt, and i

took advantage;

screams and shouts until

you finally give in.

i disrepsected your authority

getting what i want with aid of childish fits.

a destroyed relationship

between mother and daughter

until finally,

five years it took

until i realized how much i missed you.

here, eight years later

you have nothing but

more love than i thought capable,

more respect than i imagined,

and more pride than i could have

ever hoped for.

my mother,

my best friend,

my father figure,

my protector,

my Pooh Bear..

my inspiration.

i do this for you,

my hero.
