Without Love
To live without love is to die here and above,
Love can be found from the smallest of creatures to the purest of doves,
Love is the essence that fuels my being,
It comforts me with unseen feelings that are filled
with connections that never leave me needing,
I walk with love knowing I am hers and she is mine,
Loneliness and strife come and go but love is my everlasting light,
My safe haven and protection not to mention her eyes,
The way she looks at me even brightens the darkest of nights,
The way she walks and the way she moves,
so mysterious that even to me,
her motives elude,
In her gaze the world stands still,
the pits of my flaws even start to fill,
she is consistent in a world ever changing,
when life is so fleeting I know she is waiting,
to be with me in life and that after death,
I am undeserving of her blessing,
but am glad she chose me to bless,
all the ways I could wrong her,
she returns with forgiving might,
an agent of angels she comes from,
promised to never forsake the mistakes I took in life,
in the face of my hate she is nothing but caring,
she lives without regret here every moment is daring,
she dries my tears with her soul,
and makes me feel more precious than silver or gold,
she is in me and she is in all,
even when shunned she answers our call,
to have her to myself would be the most selfish of deeds,
but to lay next to love,
there is nothing I need.
