Without Me

Don't tell me what to think.

Don't say you understand me.

You misread all the signs.

Punish me for needing a way to breath.

Tell me i'm wrong without hearing my side.

Tell me i'm crazy without reading between the lines.

You don't get it not even a little bit .

I'm not crazy actually completely sane.

Just trying to find a way to quiet the voices,

Trying to find a way to dull the pain.

Trying to find a way to make it all go away

I don't want to be here.

I wanna run away.

I would run for days and days

Just to try to escape the pain.

Quiet the voices,

And make it all go away.

And to not hear what you have to say.

It's not a disease

It's just who I am.

Take a minute and think…

What would life be like without me?
