Without my Touch

Without my touch,

this world turns on its own.

I could simply lay down

and not even make and sound

and yet this world would turn on its own.

Can't people see that change is alive?

It happens even when you don't even try.

I could try to plant more trees in dead terrains

but who says a wild fire wouldn't burn them?

I could medically aid those in other countries

but who says a new plague can't kill them?

Change is happening right now

My very existence is causing change.

So how would I alter this world, you ask?

by simply letting the Earth carry out this task.
