In Without Out
Immortally fascinated
with the inner workings of the soul.
Blood runs deep and true,
but it also runs out
as soon as it gets the chance
To escape the tainted body
it is trapped within.
I would too,
but this is home for me.
Cut and you shall be released,
but the ozone suffocates,
traps the inner workings of my mind
behind their dome.
Their block and point of exit is obstructed.
The mind is a semi permeable membrane.
Some things that wish to run,
cannot.
Although we urge.
