without oxygen

our oceans remain full

chemicals, oils, and trash fill their tops

lacking marine life, making them dull

global warming ablaze; ecosystems drop

in such a devastating way

that children playing in the beaches

can no longer be filled with sweet memories, so to say

due to the screeches

of the sea, singing help me

the damage caused by us that remain free

if only we would listen to mother nature's cries

instead of questoning why?

the power to compel a solution

remain in our hands, creators of the pollution
