Without Thee

How can I live without thee?

You fire my neurons when I'm in pain,

And help me think of good times in the rain.

How can I live without thee:

when you alert me for fight or flight ,

and keep me grounded through the night.

Oh brain how can I live without thee?

when you nurture all my ideas,

And even when no one cares you are always there.

Brain you may not be sweet as honey or calm as the wind

but you are the one that aides my body

and without you I could not live.
