Without Thought Comes Pain

Just blurted out

Just thrown on

No thought goes in

Before it goes out

The hurt's still there

The looks of scorn

'Cause of the times

I spoke unwarned

But there are times

When I don't speak

And I should have

For others were marred

And with their hurt

Came pain unknown

That overpowerd

The pain I'd known

And so I speak

Times without thought

To keep the pain

Upon myself
